China will further cut the financing cost for small and micro firms by another one percentage point this year, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said Friday (March 15). Serving the real economy is the bounden duty of the financial sector, Li said at a press conference after the conclusion of the annual session of China's national legislature.

* An Ethiopian team investigating the crash of flight ET302, which killed 157 people, has arrived in Paris, where the aircraft's black boxes are being examined, the airline said in a tweet on March 15.

* The United States has revoked 340 visas from Venezuelans since Monday (March 11), including over 100 belonging to people close to incumbent President Nicholas Maduro, announced the US State Department on March 14.

* Russia's Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft carrying three astronauts successfully took off for the International Space Station (ISS) and entered the planned orbit on March 14, Russian state space corporation Roscosmos said.

* Tropical cyclone Idai, whose winds and rain have ravaged parts of Malawi and Mozambique for days, has claimed at least 122 lives and affected more than 1 million people, a UN spokesman said on March 14.
