Various meaningful activities mark Vietnamese Party’s 90th anniversary

A wide variety of meaningful activities were held to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

A solemn meeting was held in the capital city of Hanoi on February 3, with the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, and revolutionary veterans.

To celebrate the anniversary, a special live video conference was held on February 3 in Hanoi, Hai Phong City, Vinh Long Province and Con Dao Island District, in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

Numerous other events were held nationwide on the occasion, inspiring the pride of the national revolution among people.

Foreign countries and Parties also cabled congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the CPV.

Vietnam confirms 14 nCoV infection cases

Vietnam has confirmed 14 cases of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infection, as of February 9, including nine in Vinh Phuc Province, announced by the Ministry of Health.

People who have caught novel coronavirus (nCoV) are offered free tests, treatment and medicine.

All central agencies and localities are making efforts to fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by nCoV. The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology has successfully cultivated and isolated the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in a laboratory, paving the way for developing a vaccine against the deadly virus.

Documentary series “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - A Television Annals” premiered

The 90-episod documentary film, titled “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era – A Television Annals”, made debut on the Vietnam Television and Nhan Dan (People) Television channels.

The series, developed and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper, fully and systematically reflects the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the development process of the Vietnamese revolution from the successful August Revolution to the present day.

The 90 episode series will be broadcast until the end of March 2021.
