NDO – The third Lang Son Peach Blossom Festival kicked off on January 19 at Hung Vuong Square, Chi Lang Commune, Lang Son City, in the northern province of Lang Son, as part of activities to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-2020) and to welcome Lunar New Year 2020.

With the theme of “Lang Son Peach Blossoms Festival – Quintessence, Convergence, Spring Colour Spread”, the festival aims to promote Lang Son as the land of peach blossoms, turning them into a symbol of the province and becoming a key promotional tool for local tourism.

A series of artistic performances will include Then singing, lion dances, and folk games.

The highlight of the event is the display of over 600 of the most beautiful peach trees in full bloom.

On the occasion, the organising board will award the prize for most beautiful peach blossom to the 16 most beautiful peach blossom gardens in the districts and city of Lang Son Province.

On this occasion, the organising board of the cherry blossom festival also organised tours to peach blossom gardens in Lang Son Province.

The peach blossom festival will run until February 1.
