On September 12, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) officially announced the plan to release tickets for the important match at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium next month. Accordingly, for the first time ever, tickets will be delivered through an exclusive distribution channel – the VinID mobile app.

There are four types of ticket prices for fans to choose from, including VND200,000, VND300,000, VND400,000 and VND500,000 per ticket. All the ticket classes for the next match will be open for sale from 10 am next Thursday and only on VinID.

In order to create favourable conditions for fans to come to the stadium to cheer the home team, VFF has cooperated with VinID to deploy ticket sales on the internet through Vingroup's VinID app in a 3-in-1 service, including buying tickets, paying and using a code to check in on a single application.

Besides the user-friendly interface, fans will be able to quickly pay via e-wallet or Napas payment gateway on the VinID application in just a few simple steps. The e-wallet on VinID is connected with 35 domestic banks, helping buyers quickly connect and pay without cash.

To buy a ticket for the Group G’s match between hosts Vietnam and Malaysia, customers only need to download or update the VinID app on the IOS or Android platform, then open the "Mua Vé" (buy ticket) feature and select ticket classes and quantities for online payment; or access for specific instructions.

Two-thirds of the total number of tickets issued corresponding to the total 40,000 seats on My Dinh Stadium will be sold by from the app. The closing time for online ticket sales is at 5 pm on September 23, of which tickets are sold during three frames – at 10 am, 3 pm and 10 pm daily, or until the tickets are sold out, whichever comes first. Each person can only buy one at a time using a citizen ID card, with the maximum number of tickets for each person per an order is four tickets at the same par value.

For the first time, VFF applies a check-in form with a ticket code for fans. Ticket control will be made via the app at Door 5, second floor, stand B, at My Dinh Stadium.

This ticket selling method will also be applied to the next three home matches of the Vietnamese national team at My Dinh Stadium in the AFC second qualifying round of the FIFA 2022 World Cup’s Group G against UAE on November 14 and Thailand on November 19 this year, as well as for the match against Indonesia on June 4, 2020.
