Hung Thinh - HCM City dominate National Men's and Women's Tennis Championships

NDO – The 2019 National Men's and Women's Tennis Championships - VTF Pro Tour 200-3 – Sun World Cup 2019 wrapped up in Da Nang city on August 18 after a week of intense competition, seeing players from Hung Thinh - Ho Chi Minh City team collect all top four titles.

On the final day of the tournament, Pham Minh Tuan claimed the men's singles title after defeating 17-year-old talent Tu Le Khanh Duy, of Becamex Binh Duong, 6-3, 6-2 in the final match.

On the same day, Tuan’s teammate, Dao Minh Trang, came from a set down to beat Si Boi Ngoc (from the army team) 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final to bag the women's singles title.

A day earlier, the No. 1 seeded pair, Le Quoc Khanh - Pham Minh Tuan, helped Hung Thinh - HCM City claim the men’s double title after beating La Xuan Hau - Nguyen Dac Tien (Hanoi) 6-4, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Dao Minh Trang, coupled with Phan Nhu Quynh, took the trophy in the women's doubles after winning 6-3, 6-3 against teammates Le Thao Han - Tran Thuy Thanh Truc.

With the results, Hung Thinh - HCM City proved their class by collecting all four top titles at the event.

Dao Minh Trang beat Si Boi Ngoc to win the women's singles title.

The 2019 VTF Pro Tour 200-3, held by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF), the Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports and the Da Nang Tennis Federation, attracted the participation of 85 players from 11 units across the nation. They competed in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles.
