PSG clinch eighth Ligue 1 title

Paris St Germain claimed their eighth Ligue 1 without kicking a ball on Sunday after second-placed Lille were held to a goalless draw at Toulouse. PSG have 81 points after 32 games and cannot be caught as they lead Lille, who have played one more game, by 16 points with five games remaining.

* Arsenal's bid for a top four finish in the Premier League suffered a major setback as Crystal Palace punished their sluggish display to claim a shock 3-2 win on Sunday (Apr 21).

* Undefeated PAOK secured their first Greek league title in 34 years with a game to spare after crushing Levadiakos 5-0 on Sunday. Thessaloniki-based PAOK also became the first non-Athens team to win the league title since Larissa did it back in 1988.

* Borussia Dortmund eased past Freiburg 4-0 on Sunday, with goals from Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Mario Goetze and Paco Alcacer, to stay a point behind leaders Bayern Munich with four games left in the Bundesliga season.

* A brilliant double from Goncalo Guedes saw Valencia move into fifth place in La Liga as they recorded an impressive 2-1 victory at Real Betis on Sunday to move into closer contention for the fourth and final Champions League place.

* Flamboyant Italian Fabio Fognini followed up his shock victory over Rafael Nadal with a 6-3 6-4 final win over Serbian Dusan Lajovic to claim his maiden Masters title in Monte Carlo on Sunday.

* France and Australia have set up the Fed Cup final following their respective 3-2 victories over Romania and Belarus in the semifinals on Sunday.

* Taiwan's Pan Cheng-tsung won his first PGA Tour tournament with a one-stroke victory over Matt Kuchar as world number one Dustin Johnson stumbled badly on the back nine at the RBC Heritage in South Carolina on Sunday.
