"I am very happy with the victory and the championship title for the team,” he said. “The players have been trying very hard and gave their best performance in the past two months. I would like to thank the players and the coaching staff for their hard work during the preparations for this tournament.”

The Korean strategist also mentioned the great support from the home fans. “I am very happy to receive the love of the Vietnamese fans as well as Korean supporters. Hopefully after this tournament, the Vietnamese will also love many other Koreans, not only me," Park said emotionally.

He also said he wanted to present the title to all Vietnamese people who have always supported the team.

Regarding the only goal of the match by striker Nguyen Anh Duc, Park praised his efforts and said the goal was the result of the coordination of the whole team.
