NDO – High school students nationwide on August 10 entered the second day of the 2020 national high school graduationexam, with two combined tests on natural science and social science being held simultaneously.

The two combined tests of natural science (including physics, chemistry and biology) and social science (history, geography and civic education) are in the form of multiple-choice questions.

The candidates must complete each subject within 50 minutes.

In previous years, the students could take one or both of the combined exams for high school graduation and admission to universities, colleges and intermediate schools. However, under the 2020 exam regulations, the candidates are allowed to register for only one of the two combinatorial tests.

Freelance contestants can take either the whole combined test or the component subjects.

The adjustment aims to help students to choose the test that is suitable to their own capabilities and the career they want to pursue in the future.

According to statistics of the Ministry of Education and Training, 296,158 students registered for the combined test onnatural science, while 489,516 others are taking the combined test on social science.

The measures in Covid-19 prevention and control were taken to ensure the safety, comfort and strictness of the exam.

The contestants will take the test on foreign languages in this afternoon, closing the 2020 national high school graduation exams.
