NDO - On June 27, students across the country took the last test of the three-day national high school exam for 2019.

The test was on the subject group of social science, including history, geography and society, in the form of multiple-choice questions in which students had 50 minutes to complete each subject.

Statistics of the Ministry of Education and Training showed that over 99% of the total candidates across the country entered the three-day exam, with the percentage of participants taking literature, maths, physics, chemistry, biology, foreign language, history, geography, and society being 99.6%, 99.53%, 99.6%, 99.56%, 99.66%, 99.59%, 99.48%, 99.54%, and 99.6%, respectively.

A total of 79 students and six exam supervisors were detected violating exam regulations, with 72 of the students being suspended.

Since 2015, high school graduation and university entrance exams have been integrated into one national exam.

Prior to this year’s exam, the Ministry put forward new regulations and technical solutions to tighten security and avoid cheating in the exam, as the results will be used for both high school graduation and university entrance.
