Deputy PM visits and presents gifts in Can Tho

NDO – Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families and former Party and State leaders in Can Tho city on February 17.

Saluting Le Phuoc Tho, former Politburo member and former Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Organisation, Deputy PM Binh briefed him on the country’s socio-economic achievements in 2018.

He also spoke highly of services made by former Party and State leaders to the national revolutionary cause, voicing his hopes for their further contributions to national development.

While visiting Le Thi Hanh, 86-year-old wife of writer-war martyr Le Vinh Hoa, and 94-year-old revolutionary contributor Tran Can Hoc, Deputy PM Binh expressed his deep gratitude for the huge sacrifice and contributions made by wounded soldiers and families of policy beneficiaries towards national liberation and reunification.

The Fatherland and the people always remember the services of heroes, wounded soldiers, war martyrs and revolutionary contributors, he reaffirmed.
