National Assembly Vice Chair visits Hung Yen province

NDO - National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong and Minister of Public Security To Lam paid a visit to the northern province of Hung Yen on March 7.

At the working session, provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy briefed Phong on Hung Yen’s achievements in 2017 and proposed that the central government and NA revise the current land law in order to facilitate the province’s industrial development.

The NA leader said she was pleased with the achievements that Hung Yen has recorded in recent years and asked the province to tap into its strengths to achieve further success in 2018 and the following years.

On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman Phong and Minister To Lam paid their respects to former General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh at his monument in Hung Yen province’s capital city.

They also offered incense at the memorial house to Hoang Thi Loan, mother of President Ho Chi Minh, in Khoai Chau district and the memorial house to revolutionary To Hieu in Van Giang district.
