Visiting Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Quan, who is serving as Chairman of the Association of Vietnam University and Colleges, Politburo member Nguyen Thien Nhan spoke highly of Quan’s contributions to the education sector, as well as to the development of the city and the country in general.
Affirming the city authorities’ constant attention to the education and training sector, he revealed that the city has planned to build creative urban areas in District 2, District 9 and Thu Duc district, in order to connect and promote human resources from universities and high-tech parks to facilitate the city’s development.
While visiting Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Tuoi, the HCMC Secretary highly valued her dedication to the education sector, calling for her further support to develop high-quality human resources in the city.
For their part, Profs. Drs, Tran Hong Quan and Phan Thi Tuoi pledged to make further contributions to the education sector, calling on the city’s authorities to provide more support for teachers.
