NDO – Over 2.1 million entries from students nationwide, aged eight to 15, have been sent into a contest themed “Learning about rare and valuable animals through postage stamps”, after nearly five months since the launch.

The information was announced at a ceremony at Kim Dong Primary School, Ha Phong city, on May 21. The ceremony was held to review and honour the winners of the contest. Accordingly, one special prize, two first, four second, ten third, 22 consolation and 15 team prizes were presented to the outstanding individuals and teams.

The contest was organised by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, the Vietnam Post and the Vietnam Stamp Association.

The contest aims to convey a message to the Vietnamese people and the international community on understanding and joining hands to protect rare and valuable animals. The competition was considered as a healthy and useful playground for children to express their thoughts and actions in protecting the environment and protecting rare and valuable animals.
