The VSSS 2018 is being organised by the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) – Quy Nhon University under the theme of “Passion Horizon”.

The event consists of more than 20 lectures in seven talks, featuring scientific base, academic freedom, introduction to research, research environment, and critical thinking, in addition to morality and experience in scientific work, skills for preparing applications for scholarships and overseas studies, and general education and science ahead of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Prof. Tran Thanh Van, the founder of Rencontres du Vietnam and the ICISE, said that the VSSS 6 will inspire learners in scientific research, while encouraging, training and supporting Vietnam’s younger generations, who have a passion for scientific research and are intending to pursue a research career in the future.

The summer school will provide basic knowledge about scientific methodology, the basic skills of research, the approach to scientific resources, overseas study opportunities, and, more importantly, inspirations for Vietnamese youths, he stated.

The activities of the VSSS 6 will last until July 25.
