Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Justice receives Order of Merit of Italy

NDO - Authorised by the President of the Republic of Italy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Vietnam, Antonio Alessandro presented the Order of Merit to Deputy Minister of Justice Dang Hoang Oanh at a ceremony in Hanoi on November 5.

According to the Italian Ambassador, the Order of Merit is the senior order awarded to foreign individuals who have made particularly important contributions to the development of the relationship between the two countries in general and for Italy in particular.

The Ambassador underscored that Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Oanh has made important contributions to the friendly and cooperative relationship between Italy and Vietnam in the past years, especially in the field of justice.

For her part, Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Oanh affirmed that this is not only a recognition of her contributions but also that of officials and the staff from the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam as well as of Italian colleagues in Vietnam.

She also pledged to exert more effort to promote the bilateral cooperation in a more effective and practical manner.
