Vietnam, Ukraine boost cooperation on public administration training

NDO – A delegation from the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), led by its Director Dr. Dang Xuan Hoan, paid a working visit to Ukraine from September 29 to October 2.

During the working trip, the delegation worked with the Ukrainian Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine and a number of well-known Ukrainian universities and institutes in Kiev and Kharkov to discuss about teaching and scientific research experiences regarding public administration.

The delegation discussed measures and plans to strengthen cooperation between the NAPA and Ukrainian partners in the near future. The delegation also visited and worked with some ministries and agencies of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the visit, the NAPA delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine. NAPA Director Dang Xuan Hoan briefed the Embassy's officials about new functions and tasks as well as the Academy's innovations in the current period. He also thanked the Embassy for actively supporting and warmly welcoming the delegation.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his pleasure at receiving the NAPA delegation while informing the delegation about the current economic and political situation of Ukraine.

The Ambassador also informed the delegation about administrative reforms and major contents in the national renewal process of the new government under the leadership of President Vladimir Zelensky, particularly in structural reform, administrative management, and anti-corruption as well as highlighting the progress that Ukraine has made.
