Vice President praises patriotic emulation movement in Bac Ninh

NDO – State Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has applauded Bac Ninh Province for its positive renovation in promoting local patriotic emulation movement.

Speaking at the 5th Bac Ninh Patriotic Emulation Congress held on August 23 in Bac Ninh City, the capital of the northern province, Thinh praised the achievements in implementing the movement in Bac Ninh over the past five years.

She stressed on the positive renovation that Bac Ninh has made to facilitate the movement, especially in commendation work, with an expansion of rewarding towards outstanding farmers, workers and local residents who have directly contributed to facilitating the movement.

Thinh suggested that Bac Ninh should continue to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation while promoting the lessons learnt in leading and carrying out the local emulation movement.

She also stressed that the province needs to deeply implement emulation movements as taught by Uncle Ho to create motivation to successfully realise the province's socio-economic objectives and tasks, while reviewing the local movement to promptly identify collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements for timely honouring and rewarding.

On the occasion, the State Vice President presented a portrait photo of President Ho Chi Minh to Bac Ninh Province. She also presented Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to outstanding individuals who have made contributions to the province’s emulation movement during the 2015-2020 period.
