He noted that the Party and State always insist on sustainable development goals, particularly paying much attention to improving the material, cultural and spiritual life for people in remote areas.
However, Deputy PM Dam frankly pointed out a problem that many localities has neglected environmental, cultural and social issues due to pressure of economic development.
Therefore, it is crucial to arouse good values like humanitarian blood donation thanks to typical examples, he said.
Nearly 1.4 million units of blood were donated in 2018, 98.3% of which were sourced from volunteers.
