Defence Ministry holds ceremony in response to Vietnam Law Day

NDO – A ceremony was held in Hanoi by the Ministry of Defence on November 5 to review the five-year response to Vietnam Law Day.

The event saw the attendance of Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Defence Minister Lieutenant General Le Chiem noted that activities in response to Vietnam Law Day have been promoted in the military over the past years, focusing on the implementation of political missions and celebrating the country’s legal and political events.

In addition, the Ministry has overseen drafting of a number of bills and documents guiding the implementation of laws, contributing to improving the efficiency of State management in the field of military and defence.

The law enforcement, examination, inspection, investigation, prosecution, adjudication, execution of judgments, judicial reform and administrative procedures have been actively carried out among the whole army.

At the ceremony, 61 military collectives and 60 individuals were honoured for gaining outstanding achievements in dissemination and education of laws.
