PM Phuc requested renovation of the law building mindset, in order to ensure feasibility and reasonability and create a favourable legal corridor for people and enterprises; assessment of the impacts of policies and collection of opinions from policy beneficiaries.

Regulations and policies must be clear, intelligible and easily applicable, and respect the settlement of violations, thus demonstrating the strictness and deterrence of the law, he said.

The government leader also urged cabinet members to focus on discussing the draft decree on the new-tenure government’s working regulations, and assigned the Government Office to collect opinions and finalize the decree before submitting it to the PM for approval.

At the meeting, the government will hear a report by the Finance Ministry on the situation and measures for effective management and economical use of public assets.

The monthly cabinet meeting is scheduled to last two and a half days, with one and a half days spent on discussing institution building and one day on discussing the socio-economic performance in August and in the first eight months of the year.
