NDO – Quang Ba flower night market, the largest wholesale market proving fresh flowers in Hanoi, became busier as usual this morning, with the celebration of International Women's Day, March 8.

The market runs on the edge of Au Co street in Tu Lien and Quang Ba wards, Tay Ho district.

Due to the high demand for International Women’s Day, price for roses has doubled or even tripled over that of usual days.

However, the average price of flowers at the market is still lower than other places.

Flowers often arrive from gardens in Hanoi’s suburban areas including Tay Tuu, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Phuc Yen and Me Linh.

Some sorts of flowers are even transferred from Sa Pa in the northern region, or Da Lat city in the Central Highlands, or even imported from abroad.

Not only providing customers with fresh flowers, the sellers also offers flower arrangements.
