NDO – An exhibition themed ‘Eternal Spring’ opened in Hanoi on January 16 as an event to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930 -2020).

The exhibition introduces 59 artworks in various media, such as paintings, sculptures, graphic art and propaganda posters, by many generations of Vietnamese artists of different ages, including Tran Van Can, Bui Xuan Phai, Tran Luu Hau, and Ngo Ton De.

The works on display feature various topics in life, Vietnamese people’s achievements in national construction and defence, and historical sites through the use of assorted materials such as lacquer, oil painting, water colour, woodcarving, and bronze.

They also honour the 90-year glorious history and development of the Party, the bond between people and Party, and President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition is open to the public for free at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, until February 28.
