NDO – The Hung Yen Longan and Agricultural Products Week 2019 opened at Big C Thang Long in Hanoi on August 9, in a bid to boost the consumption of Hung Yen specialty fruit and farm produce.

The event is part of trade promotion activities held by the authorities of Hung Yen province in coordination with Big C Thang Long – a member of Central Group Vietnam. This is the third year the event has been held in Hanoi to bring the specialty fruit, longan, to Hanoi consumers.

Deputy General Director of Central Group Vietnam Nguyen Thi Phuong said that the event aims to support Vietnamese agricultural products and respond to the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritise Vietnamese goods” towards improving the living standards of the people and raising the value of Vietnamese farm produce.
