During the fest, the participating elephants joined a race, a football match, a parade, a tug-of-war competition and a ceremony to pray for their good health.

Meanwhile in Buon Ma Thuot city, a competition on smart coffee cultivation opened with the participation of eight teams grouping of coffee growers, producers and processors from Central Highlands region as well as those from Son La, Quang Tri and Binh Phuoc provinces.

The competition aimed to create a venue for participants to exchange knowledge and experience in coffee cultivation as well as the current policies on the fields.
