Becamex Binh Duong claimed the championship at the Binh Duong Television Cup 2018.

NDO – Becamex Binh Duong beat Vasco da Gama of Brazil in the final at Go Dau Stadium to win the International Football Tournament – Binh Duong Television (BTV) Cup, on February 4.

Mirchev Mitko scored the only goal for the hosts Becamex Binh Duong in the 57th minute.

Earlier, V-League champions Quang Nam defeated Hoang Anh Gia Lai 4-2 in a penalty shootout, securing the bronze medal.

The match, which was also held at the Go Dau Stadium in southern Binh Duong province, ended in a 1-1 draw after official time.

Becamex's goalie Tan Truong (L) and midfielder Tan Tai won the Best Goalkeeper and Best Player titles at the tournament.

The 18th BTV Cup, jointly organised by Binh Duong Television and the Vietnam Football Federation, took place from January 25 to February 4, with the participation of three Vietnamese teams, namely Becamex Binh Duong, V-League champions Quang Nam, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai; alongside two foreign clubs, Vasco de Gama from Brazil and Korean Students from the Republic of Korea.

The champions received a Cup and a cash prize worth VND500 million (US$22,000), while the runner-ups and third prize winners received VND300 million (US$13,200) and VND150 million (US$6,600), respectively.
