PM encourages doctors and patients at Da Nang hospital ahead Tet

NDO – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a pre-Tet (Lunar New Year) visit to medical staff and patients being treated at C Hospital in the central city of Da Nang on February 11.

Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister commended the achievements of the hospital staff, declaring that their efforts, professional qualifications and services have been highly regarded by the local people and officials of the Central and Central Highlands regions.

The government’s top leader also urged doctors and nurses to remain alert and to continue to provide rapid responses to emergency cases and timely treatment to patients during the upcoming Tet holiday.

Prime Minister Phuc also requested that Da Nang authorities work with the Ministry of Health to increase the number of hospital beds from 650 to 700. He added that aside from the infrastructure and service attitude, the expertise of the medical team is the most important, urging the hospital to continue their focus on providing training to its medical staff to meet the development needs for the future.

Later the same day, PM Phuc laid wreaths paying tribute to martyrs at the Que Son Martyrs’ Memorial in Quang Nam province’s Que Son district, in addition to meeting with local veterans and senior officials.
