Theatre and Cinema Academy asked to inspire creativity among students

NDO – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has asked the management board of the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema to inspire creativity and activeness among the lecturers and students, thus encouraging their contributions to the development of the country’s theatre, cinema and the arts in general.

The Government official made the request while attending the opening of a new academic year of the academy in Hanoi, on September 12.

Whist extending his best wishes to the lecturers and students on the new school year, the Deputy PM praised the academy’s achievements in training over the past 57 years.

He hailed the academy that has contributed thousands of actors, directors, and stage managers to the country, who are present in every corner of the nation, from the fiercest battlefields to the national construction and defence.

Graduates from the academy have contributed to presenting opportunities for people to enjoy arts, while nurturing and fostering the country’s long-history of culture and arts, he stressed.

He also appreciated the academy for attaching priority on enhancing their training quality and accelerating international integration.

He called for further renovations in teaching and learning methods so that lecturers and students of the academy would produce art works which are asserted with high quality, while meeting the entertainment demands of the people.
