NDO/VNA – China, Laos and Vietnam jointly established a drug control cooperation office on the border of Jiangcheng county in China's southwest Yunnan province on June 20.
The office looks to strengthen cooperation among the three nations on combating cross-border drug trafficking crimes.
China has maintained good cooperation with Laos and Vietnam in narcotics control, according to Wei Xiaojun, Deputy Director of Narcotics Control Bureau of Ministry of Public Security.
Since 2002, 10 such cooperation offices have been set up by China, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, covering the most serious drug-plagued regions along the borders.
