Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien hailed Vietnam Medi-Pharm as a prestigious and effective exhibition, which offers a platform for companies to exchange information on health-related fields, while strengthening their investment in developing medical services aimed at meeting the people’s needs for medical check-ups and treatment.

Major products on display during the four-day exhibition include pharmaceuticals, functional food, medical, dentistry, and ophthalmological equipment, as well as health care products, chemicals and experiment equipment.

With the theme of “Strengthening grassroots-level medical services, towards covering everyone’s health”, the Health Ministry’s display area disseminates the Party and State’s policies and laws on medical work, as well as the achievements and major tasks of Vietnam’s medical sector this year.

A number of other events will also be held on the fringes of the Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2018, including the Vietnam International Hospital Exhibition, the International Rehabilitation & Healthcare Technology Exhibition & Conference, the International Dental Exhibition, and seminars and forums on heart health, blood pressure, and vaccinations.

As part of the exhibitions there will be consultancies on medical law, the pharmaceutical market, public health care and epidemics prevention, among others.
