Da Nang establishes International Institute of Technology

NDO - Da Nang University held a ceremony to launch the International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) on August 25 in a bid to increase international cooperation and improve the quality of education and science research.

The institute was set up following an agreement signed between Da Nang University and France's Nice Sophia Antipolis University.

The institute includes a centre of technology research and transfer; a centre of training management and science and technology information; and a French language digital centre.

The DNIIT will take charge in promoting international cooperation in the fields of scientific research and training, in addition to enhancing the research capability for lecturers and students of Da Nang University, contributing to achieving the goal of becoming a "research oriented university".

The DNIT is also responsible for developing scientific research across multiple areas, postgraduate training, technology transfer and scientific information dissemination through international cooperation with large universities throughout the world, particularly in the partnership with Nice Sophia Antipolis University and Francophone University Association.

Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam, Director of Da Nang University said that Da Nang University will provide support and create all favourable conditions to ensure the effective operation of the institute.
