NDO/VNA - The Coast Guard ship Badaro of the Republic of Korea (ROK) docked at Tien Sa port on September 4 for a four-day trip to the central city of Da Nang.

The ship, with 189 officers and sailors aboard, is captained by Lieutenant Colonel Kim Dong Jin.

This is the second time it has arrived in the city after its first visit in 2016, aiming to enhance mutual trust and deepening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the ROK.

The guests are scheduled to conduct exchange activities with the High Command of Vietnam Coast Guard and pay courtesy visits to the municipal People’s Committee and the High Command of Vietnam Coast Guard Region 2.

On the occasion, local authorities will propose that the two sides continue expanding cooperation and sharing experience in search and rescue, sea security and safety.
