NDO – For the first time in Vietnam, specialists from the Vietnam Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources have discovered a cemetery of fossilised coral reef more than 5,000 years old on Quang Ngai province’s Ly Son Island. Unique murals in Canh Duong village

NDO – Canh Duong village is located about nine kilometres from the tomb of legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap and 60 kilometres from Phong Nha caves, Quang Binh province. A mural painting project called “Fresco for the Future” is restoring the colourful appearance of Canh Duong fishing village following the devastation of storm Doksuri in September 2017. The murals were completed in early March 2018.
