Thousand join campaign to make world cleaner

NDO - More than 1,000 people participated in a meeting in the northern province of Hoa Binh on September 23 in response to the Clean up the World campaign.
The meeting is jointly held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment along with the Hoa Binh People’s Committee and the Australian Embassy.
This year’s campaign focuses on the role of waste management in rural areas and mobilising the people to protect the environment towards building a green and sustainable environment.
Representatives of ministries, agencies and local authorities attend the meeting.
