NDO – A songwriting contest for professional and non-professional authors, who are ethnic minority people across the country, was opened on July 5 to look for songs from ethnic minority groups.

The competition focuses on the themes of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the revolutionary traditions of the nation and national heroes; or examining changes in rural mountainous areas in building a new rural life.

Entries must be new works, not previously submitted to any contest, and not announced or performed on stage in any form.

Each author is allowed to submit no more than two entries.

The entries are to be submitted to the Department of Ethnic Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, at No. 51 - 53 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, from now to the end of September 28, 2018.

The award ceremony is scheduled for November 2018 in Hanoi.
