NDO – A music night featuring vintage jazz will be held on September 16, at 8pm, in L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

The night will feature the Vintage Jazz group, consisting of Ha Dinh Huy on drums and percussion, Doan Viet Dung on guitar, Hoang Hai Bang on bass and contrabass and Vu Tu Cau on piano, who will collaborate with saxophonist Quyen Thien Dac, artist Nguyen Duc Minh (Jew harp and flute) and singer and guembri-musician Amine Canamine from Morocco.

In the first part of the show, the artists will revive the atmosphere of the 90's jazz nights through classic French jazz, such as Douce France, C'est si bon, Le Jazz et la Java, Que reste t'il de nos amours?, and Le sourire de mon amour.

In combination with the early influences of French jazz, the Vietnamese artists and musicians have added some of the subtlety of oriental music to their pieces of music, creating a fusion style of jazz.

With a peculiar production, the French jazz night is also expected to provide a unique experience – a musical fusion of French romance and African fire – to audiences.

Tickets cost VND190,000. For L’Espace members and students, the cost is VND120,000 and VND90,000, respectively.

Tickets are available at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street.
