Hanoi to host international culinary fest

NDO - The Hanoi Exchange Programme for Culinary Culture is scheduled to take place on June 16-17, in the capital’s city centre.

The event will feature 50 stalls, of which 25 will present typical dishes of Hanoi and the remaining 25 introducing international culinary delights from Laos, France, China, Peru, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Argentina, Australia, Italy, Colombia, among others.

Participating countries, represented by their embassies and cultural centres in Vietnam, will bring their traditional charms and music to the event.

Signature dishes of Hanoian cuisine include Pho, nem ran (spring roll), cha ca (fishcake), and bun thang (a type of noodle soup that contains up to 20 ingredients).

The event will also feature a wide range of artistic performances praising the beauty of the traditional cultures the of participating countries.
