Exhibition honours President Ho Chi Minh’s contribution

NDO – A photo exhibition honouring President Ho Chi Minh’s great sacrifices opened at the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh City, on May 17, as part of activities to celebrate his 127th birthday anniversary (May 19, 1890 – 2017).
On display are 87 photos featuring the life, career and great contributions of Uncle Ho to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
In addition, several photographs highlight great achievements of the Party, government and people in Ho Chi Minh City during its over 40-year process of development and integration to become a major urban area of the country.
The exhibition offers visitors a chance to know more about President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals and style – invaluable heritage for Vietnamese people.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was a brilliant ideologist who created a new culture and era for the nation.
Over a period of more than 40 years, Ho Chi Minh City has promoted the campaign to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, creating positive changes towards safeguarding and developing into a more modern city.
The exhibition will be on till June 10.
